World Book Day
Thursday 1st March 2007 was World Book Day and the staff and pupils arrived at school dressed as their favourite character from a book.

There were Harry Potters, Horrid Henrys, Willie Wonka and his Oompa-lumpas, Ugly Sisters, Wardrobes (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe!!) and too many others to mention.

 In the morning all the children attended workshops run by The Open Box Theatre Company and in the afternoon the Year 5s put on a fashion show where they took the part of their character and spoke a little about them.

Prince Charming?!
Some of the Year 8 girls put together a play telling a fairytale with a twist involving Prince Charming and a number of fairytale princesses. all came together with frightening consequences.

Those in Year 6 - 8 attended a balloon debate with members of Year 8 taking on the job of explaining why they should be allowed to stay in the balloon rather than having to leap to their certain death.
