The Junior House accommodates the youngest boarding children in the school, children at eight or nine years of age. The Junior Boarders live in a separate house just a stone's throw away from both the main school buildings where they can enjoy all the benefits of the whole school boarding community, while living in a smaller environment that operates similar to a family home.

Up to 18 children live with Mr and Mrs Wilkes in the Junior Boarding House in shared bedrooms of four to six children. They also enjoy a large playroom, good sized family kitchen and a private garden with play equipment.

During the week there is a Junior Boarding House Activity after school. This allows the children to come back to the house to chill out if they don't wish to participate in one of the many other after school clubs on offer to boarders and day children alike. All children are back to the  Junior House at 7.00pm to have their baths and playtime.  All children are in bed, with the lights out, by 8.30pm.
