House Poetry Recitation 2007

The English Department contribute towards the House system through a number of different competitions; one of which is the House Poetry Recitation competition.

Every child in the school selects and learns a poem to recite in front of their English class. from this a number of pupils are put forward to recite their poem to their head of House who selects 2 finalists and a reserve from each year group. These finalists compete against the other houses in the Poetry Recitation Competition Finals in front of an guest judge, parents and the rest of the school.

Year 4 were away in France this year so will hold a separate competition later in the academic year.
