Another triumphant Spring Concert under the direction of Mr Godfree and his colleagues in the Music Department.
From solo performances to the whole school working together on the Billy Joel Piano Man Medley the quality of musicianship was outstanding and is testament to the hard work put in by all involved in the musical life of the school.

Next it was HIJINCS' turn to entertain with a medley of Gershwin songs before we were transported to the African continent by the Year 4 Drummers.
The Senior Singers kept the tempo high with Frank Loesser's "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat" before the Big Band kicked in with "Blueberry Blues" and "Let's Rumba!" by Simon Cunliffe.
Now it was time for the grand event with the whole school involved in Mr Godfree's arrangement of a medley of Billy Joel tracks. Once again the whole school combined to produce a magnificent sound to complement some superb solo singing.

The concert finished with the Orchestra and a superb rendition of Pirates of Caribbean that really got the audience jigging in their seats.
There was one surprise item not included on the programme. The whole school sang "Happy Birthday" to Mr Godfree and much to his delight it was significantly more tuneful than is the norm at Boarders' tea.
