Once again, Highfield supported Liphook’s Peak Centre, with the proceeds of its Harvest Festival. The Service was held on Sunday night, 5th October in the chapel which was decorated with hops and harvest gifts donated by parents and pupils. The Harvest Litany was sung by the chapel choir and pupils walked down the aisle each carrying a representation of the harvest – bread – corn – fruit – milk – wine. All the Harvest produce was then delivered to the Peak Centre, who provides day care for Liphook’s elderly and relies on voluntary contributions. Highfield also presented them with a cheque for £216 from the offertory collection.
