Join the A3 travelling north. At Hindhead traffic lights, turn left onto A287 and proceed to Farnham, passing through Churt, Frensham and Millbridge. As the road descends into Farnham, go through traffic lights and then turn right immediately over railway bridge. Follow road alongside railway line and through station car park. Turn left onto main road and then right at traffic lights onto A31. At huge roundabout, take last exit (signposted Guildford A31) and Barfield will be found a short distance on the right- hand side.
