On Tuesday evening, 22 acts took to the stage in the Rock@Highfield event in the Theatre in front of a packed audience of over 120. There were a diverse mixture of musical styles ranging from compositions from the Rock School programme to well rock anthems. A stunning performance of ‘Stairway to Heaven’ sung by Freddie Cooper was accompanied by an outstanding lead guitar solo by James Rees. Thanks to Adrian Holland for organising the event and to Mr Rood, Mr Spratley and Mrs Saunders for their hard work in preparing the acts
