In this clever and absorbing production the children enjoyed both the engaging story as well as the entertainment of seeing the staging being wheeled up and down the railway tracks Undoubtedly, the highlight of the production was the entrance of the amazing ‘Stirling Single', a beautiful 60 tonne vintage steam locomotive, which made its dramatic appearance just before the interval.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at the theatre and I would like to thank the staff, Mr Searson, Miss Gordon, Miss Ranger and Mr Close, who gave up their time to accompany the trip, as well as the children for being such great Highfield Ambassadors.
