1. After School Activities
After School Activities: Mountain Biking
As the name suggests these activities take place after the normal school day has finished. The activities start at 4.30pm and run for 50 minutes. These activities are voluntary but boarders are required to participate in certain numbers of activities according to their year group.
Examples of the activities offered include judo, fencing, swimming, art club, knitting, street dance, ballet, photography, lacrosse, gymnastics, chess & backgammon, story at tea-time, debating and science discussion and many more.
2. Sunday Activities
Each Sunday during term time the staff take it in turns to arrange a variety of exciting, challenging, fun and even educational activities for the boarding community.
The boarders have recently enjoyed gnome painting, paper making, "Gladiators", pyrotechnics, kite making, hobby-horse polo tournament, ten pin bowling and a trip to Hollycombe Steam Fair.

3. Directed Activities
Directed Activities: Dance
These activities take place during the school day on a Thursday afternoon.
Each child is timetabled to paticipate in a carousel of different activities including fencing, dance, African drumming, introduction to German, orienteering and many others.
Directed Activities: Junior department Performing Arts Presentation rehearsal
This is also the time that the School Orchestra rehearses, children are selected for this by the Music Department. A few children opt to reeive professional golf coaching at this time.
