Visit | Nursery Pre-prep & Prep School
We are thrilled to be able to finally welcome prospective parents to visit us once again and we know that many eager families have been waiting patiently for the opportunity to see us in person. We are delighted to be able to offer you a range of different options.
When it comes to choosing a school for your children, we know that visiting the school will be high on your list of priorities. Furthermore, when you visit, we understand that the most important part isn’t necessarily touring the school buildings and grounds, although we think you will be amazed by our facilities, instead it’s more about the people you meet along the way. Nothing will influence your decision more than meeting the heads and the myriad of skilled teachers who will be instrumental in shaping your child’s education or, indeed, meeting other pupils and visualising your child learning among them and making friends. Meeting our happy community is simply the best way for you to decide whether Highfield and Brookham is the right choice for you and your family.
The children who showed us around were charismatic and confident without being arrogant, polite without being insincere and over the top, and rosy-cheeked with muddy knees as they spent so much time outside!
Our next Open Mornings are on Friday 19th November and Saturday 15th January. Open Mornings offer a wonderful chance to visit us as a family, meet our inspirational teachers, and have a full tour of our impressive school and stunning grounds accompanied by our willing current pupils.
Please note, to allow for social distancing spaces will be more limited than usual.
The itinerary for our Open Mornings is:
- 10am Refreshments and the opportunity to chat informally with key members of staff.
- 10.30am Welcome Address from Sophie Baber, Headteacher at Brookham School, and Phillip Evitt, Headmaster at Highfield School, who will offer a flavour of our school and its ethos.
- 10.45am Take a tour of the school and grounds with our current pupils, who will be certain to give you an honest view.
- 11.30am End your visit with refreshments and another opportunity to chat to staff and to ask any questions that you may have.
If you have attended a previous Open Morning, or would perhaps welcome the opportunity for a personal meeting with Sophie Baber or Phillip Evitt, or indeed both, then we can offer a personalised visit. As the name suggests, personalised visits are just that, personal, just for you and your family, tailored to your specific needs.
Our virtual visits are the perfect choice for our international families, or anyone living some distance from our schools. Virtual visits offer a unique opportunity to have a personal Zoom call with Sophie Baber and Phillip Evitt. A virtual visit would also be ideal for anyone who has visited us previously but may still have one or two more questions or a need for further discussions.
