U8 Netball Tournament at Cranleigh School

U8 Netball Tournament at Cranleigh School
Brookham Pre-Prep & Nursery Brookham

Last week, a star team of eight Year 3 netball players travelled to Cranleigh School for a tournament. Shona, Mimi, Daisy, Imogen, Gennie, Jemima G, Lydia and Alice have been working hard all week to prepare for this very difficult tournament.

Twelve schools attend the event and each school played in a group of 4 teams. Points were awarded for a win, a draw and for taking part.

Brookham played Guildford High, St Hilary's and Porstmouth Grammar School. The girls managed to win ALL three of their matches, with Gennie and Jemima scoring an absolutely whopping 9 goals between them!

The girls worked so hard to move into space, mark their player closely, play a variety of passes and create space through deceptive movements. All of the girls worked extremely hard as a team and were thrilled to find out that they had won first place in their group!

What an astounding and well-deserved achievement!
